Protect your network from intrusion with a Liquid Telecom managed firewall capable of scaling according to your business requirements. You don't have to be a current Liquid Telecom Data Centre customer to make use of these solutions.
Specifications
Managed storage
Storage is available via our Storage Area Network (SAN) and starts at 50GB. Additional increments of 100GB are available. SAN switches connect to the storage controllers ensure persistent binding at all times. Data on a particular Logical Unit Number (LUN) may be shared among a customer's multiple servers.
- Data protection against double disk failure is guaranteed
- Data security is guaranteed through a combination of 'soft zoning' and 'lun masking'
- Dynamic Multi-Pathing (DMP) is enabled for all hosts, improving performance and availability
- Industry-leading processes and standards for support and maintenance of the storage subsystems
- Customers have access to usage reports
- Ability to deploy from multiple global data centre locations
Managed backup
Four categories of Managed Backup are available.
- Starter 50GB
- Standard 100GB
- Advanced 500GB
- Professional 1000GB
- Several operating systems are supported, including Unix, Microsoft and Linux
- A number of possible hypervisors are supported such as VMware, Microsoft, HP, IBM and Solaris
- NetBackup service is fully supported and certified with industry leading databases from Informix, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Sybase and Symantec
- Offsite tape storage
Backup and restore process
Customers are entitled to three restores per solution per month.

RESTORATION |
The restoration process starts within six hours from the time of receipt request to restore the service. A Liquid Telecom initiated restore process due to OS or hardware crash will be initiated immediately following the incident. |
* Daily backup will not be scheduled on the day of weekly/monthly backup.
** Weekly backup will be scheduled during any one of the weekdays.
*** Monthly backup will be scheduled between the 25th of the current month and the 5th of the next month.
